A cover letter is a one page document that is submitted with your resume in response to a job posting. Your cover letter should not simply repeat what you say on your resume, it should express your interest in the job, expand on your achievements, provide a glimpse of your values, and explain why you’re a good fit for the position.

Cover Letters answer the following questions for the employer:

  • Do you want this job? 
  • Are you good at this job? 
  • Are you a fit for this business?
