Youth Mapping Project
2002 & 2003
During the summers of 2002 and 2003, area young people identified nearly 170 youth employing and youth friendly businesses.
In 2002, Elizabeth Padilla, Christina Seymour, Laura Wilson, Elise Murphy, Nicole Grenoble, Kelly Saunders and Felicia Desreuisseau combed the Greenfield/Turners Falls, Deerfield area, as well as the Northampton and Easthampton area.
In 2003, Abrah Orth and Chris Lashua worked to map resources in the Athol/Orange area while Tiffany Lawrence, Crystal Majkowski and Mia Jayne mapped the Amherst/Hadley area. Through fall, they worked to enter the data into the national CYM website, as well as this local website, making their findings available online. For a summary of their findings, select 2002 or 2003.
